Viet Hoa Supermarket good

My spot for a vast variety of dry or fresh noodles. Also if u enjoy Ramen good place to go for that need. I did pick up some korean made wok and sauce pans that work amazing. They do carry baby bok choy that is very small great for pho, hot pot, and Ramen. Love coming here and enjoy the selections.

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place, I’ve been coming here since probably 2008– back when they used to be around the corner. My go to place for almost everything Asian. Name is Vietnamese, but a solid amount of Chinese, Korean, Thai ingredients—“pan-Asian” if you will. Everything is always clean, well stocked, and a wide variety of products available. Aisles are big, clear, and easy to navigate :) prices are quite reasonable, both for individual product, products, as well as cases of product. You could run a small restaurant out of this place, or just lean into the latest noodle obsession— for far less than you’ll be paying at the regular grocery stores. (and so many more flavors of better Ramen!!!!) plenty of snacks, drinks, and prepared/frozen foods (think dumplings, buns, egg rolls). All of the supplies for Boba tea, flavoring, tea, Boba pearls. Staff is very friendly. They usually have re-used boxes available for free if you don’t have a bag for your groceries. Parking is abundant.

I shop here a lot and it’s still my favorite eastern market. Been there for a long time. The restaurant inside has great ramen and pho, the prices are excellent, giant ramen and noodle section, solid produce lots of frozen items and sea food. Excellent selection of Chili crisp and soy sauce. I often go here over H mart because of such an excellent selection and variety of products. Just wish they had bread, otherwise great market!

Having been to many Asian supermarket in town, including Great Wall, HMart, Park Hill, Tri-Ocean, Little Saigon, New Saigon, Ben Thanh, M-Mart, but never been to Viet Hoa in Lakewood due to its location. Happened to be in the neighborhood recently and was quite amazed of this local gem. Viet Hoa has been a local staple. Used to be at Wadsworth and Alameda before relocating to its current location at Sheridan and Alameda. Although it is smaller than Great Wall and HMart, but it is bigger than most other Vietnamese supermarkets. It does not carry as many brands as its bigger rivals, but it probably has more than enough of what most people need. The impression is the vegetables, seafood and meats look fresher here, not like something just out of a freezer. The shelves are neatly stocked (it is not an exaggeration, they probably spent time lining everything up with labels facing front), which make shopping much easier. I would not say it is worthy of the trip here if you live south or north, but it probably can satisfy your Asian grocery needs so you don't need to drive all the way to other Asian supermarkets.
